In collaboration with other research laboratories, IEB has developped for Unipex Innovations, a line of peptides with targeted action on skin physiological mechanisms. These biomimetic peptides act as natural mediators in the skin, restoring its homeostasis. Many tests have been conducted to demonstrate and quantify the activity, quality, stability and innocuity of these active ingredients.
Suncare protection
- Melitane®: stimulates the production of natural melanin and protects the DNA from damages caused by UVs.
Pigmentation
- Melanostatine® 5: limits melanin overproduction and can thus be used in lightening products or preventive formulas (for lentigo or other pigmentary disorders).
Cutaneous aging
- Kollaren®: provides healing properties by activating protein synthesis of the extra cellular matrix (ECM).
- Thymulen® 4: unique biomimetic growth hormone. Helps the maturing of keratinocytes and Langerhans cells for regeneration of the basal layer and thickening of the epidermis.
- ECM-Protect®: inhibits elastase and MMP-1 enzymatic activity.
- ChroNoline™: increases dermo-epidermal junction (DEJ) key components production to maintain optimal skin structure.
Inflammation
- Neutrazen™: provides preventive and curative activity against cutaneous neurogenic inflammation.
